What is Rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty, commonly known as nose surgery, is a plastic surgery operation performed to correct the shape, size, and structure of the nose. It can be performed for aesthetic purposes as well as for resolving functional problems such as nasal obstruction and septum deviation.
At Million Hair Clinic, we use piezo surgery (ultrasonic bone shaping) technology in our rhinoplasty operations in Istanbul. This method provides much more precise results compared to the traditional hammer-chisel technique, minimizes tissue damage, and accelerates recovery.

How is Rhinoplasty Performed?

Face and Nose Analysis
Nasal structure, facial proportions, and respiratory function are evaluated using 3D imaging. The potential result is shown to the patient through simulation.
Surgical Technique Selection
Open or closed technique is determined based on the nasal structure. The decision on whether to use piezo is made. Septum intervention is planned if necessary.
Surgery
In an operation lasting 1.5-3 hours under general anesthesia, nasal bones and cartilages are reshaped. The internal structure is corrected and aesthetic form is given.
Recovery
The nasal splint remains for 7-10 days. Swelling and bruising largely subside within 2 weeks. The final shape fully settles within 6-12 months.
Piezo Rinoplasti Teknolojisi
Piezo surgery is an advanced technology that shapes bone using ultrasonic waves. Unlike the traditional hammer-chisel method, it only affects hard tissue (bone) and does not damage soft tissue (vessels, nerves, cartilage). This results in less swelling, bruising, and pain with faster recovery.
Rhinoplasty Our Techniques
1. Piezo Rhinoplasty
Precise and controlled bone intervention is performed with ultrasonic bone shaping technology. It does not damage soft tissue, resulting in less swelling and bruising. The recovery process is significantly shorter compared to conventional methods.
2. Open Rhinoplasty
The nasal skeleton is fully visualized and operated on through a small incision on the columella (the bridge between the nostrils). It is preferred in complex cases, situations requiring major changes, and revision operations.
3. Closed Rhinoplasty
All incisions are made inside the nose, leaving no visible external scars. It offers the advantages of less tissue damage and faster recovery. It is the preferred minimally invasive approach in suitable cases.
4. Revision Rhinoplasty
A corrective operation performed on patients who have previously undergone nose surgery and were not satisfied with the result. It is performed at least 1 year after the initial operation. Our experienced surgeon achieves successful results in complex revision cases.
